This position is hourly, and the starting pay rate is $22.50/hour with eligibility for a afternoon shift premium of $1.50/hr where applicable (DC roles only), and eligibility for an incentive target of $1,200 which is contingent upon achieving both individual and company performance objectives.This job posting is for an existing vacancy.Position Summary:Great fit for retail pros who want steady hours, zero weekends, and a supportive, customer‑focused environment.You'll enjoy a flexible 8-hour shift options scheduled between 6:00AM to 6:00PM MST Monday to Friday. Following the 8‑week training period and three months of tenure, your schedule will shift to a hybrid model-three days onsite and two days remote. The position begins on July 13, 2026 .To learn more about what it's like working as a Customer Service Representative at Grainger, please watch the following video.Job Responsibilities (You Will):Deliver a positive customer experience through order entry, order follow-up, shipment tracking, updating orders, account corrections, credits, returns, and moreListen to customer needs, ask exploratory questions, and interpret customer requirements to provide solutionsCombine service, sales, and technical system skills with product knowledge, to uncover customer needs and provide solutionsSeize opportunities to promote the benefits of doing business with Grainger and provide solutions with product alternatives and servicesIdentify leads for further selling opportunities to improve sales growthAnalyze information to resolve inquiries and complex problemsRespond to customer calls and inquiries (i.e., pricing, products and billing, received through the phone or by email)Communicate with customers and business partners to inform them of the status of their request through to completionEducation/Experience (You Have):High school diploma or equivalentExcellent communication skills in English1+ years of demonstrated success in a customer service role with a preference within a contact center environmentProficient and accurate typing, data entryAdvanced system knowledge and comfortable navigating systems (Microsoft Office Suite and background in enterprise systems i.e.: SAP, Oracle, Salesforce.com, SharePoint, etc.).Bilingual (ENG/FR) an assetRewards and Benefits:Our programs provide choice and flexibility to meet your individual needs.
