- Perform and document patient assessments and medical histories related to imaging procedures.
- Provide practical instruction and support to radiology and ultrasound students rotating through the modality.
- Recognize patient conditions requiring immediate action and initiate appropriate emergency response and life support measures.
- Ensure compliance with all mobile imaging, regulatory, accreditation, and safety requirements.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental operations and patient care.
- Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Successful completion of a two-year Radiologic Technology program approved by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA) of the American Medical Association (AMA). Equivalent education and/or experience may be considered in lieu of program completion.
- Current certification and registration in Radiologic Technology through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Current Mammography certification through ARRT or the ability to obtain certification within six (6) months of hire.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to work weekends and travel to designated mobile imaging locations.
