Job Description The Analytical Commercialization Technology (ACT) department within Analytical Chemistry in Development and Supply (ACDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Scientist at our West Point, PA site in our small molecule drug product Preliminary Stability Study testing laboratory. In this role, you will be utilizing analytical characterization technologies and compliance principles to drive method robustness and high-quality stability data in support of late-stage pharmaceutical drug product development and commercialization. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, stability sample analysis, SOP authoring, contributing to new technology or continuous improvement measures for optimized laboratory operations, and day-to-day problem solving. The successful candidate must have a proactive mindset and be able to collaborate in a dynamic and compliance-focused environment. Required Experience and Skills: BS/BA in chemistry or related scientific fields with at least 2+ years equivalent work experience Familiar with common analytical instrumentation. Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills. Strong written and oral communication skills. Preferred Experience and Skills: Experience working in a GLP/GMP laboratory setting. Experience with analytical techniques such H/UPLC, Karl Fischer, and dissolution and ability in trouble shooting these methodologies. Experiences with analytical work in the pharmaceutical industry, such as method development and validation. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and business or organizational needs. The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits.
