Accountabilities Assemble plastic lids or related components according to specifications and production Inspect finished products for defects, such as cracks, deformities, or improper sealing Operate and monitor assembly line equipment and tools safely Perform routine quality checks to ensure products meet company standards Package finished lids for shipment or further processing Maintain a clean and organized work area (5S standards) Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures Report equipment malfunctions or production issues to supervisors Meet daily production targets and efficiency goals Assist with basic machine setup or adjustments when required 4. Qualifications/Requirements 4.1 Formal Qualifications and Experience Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail Basic understanding of quality control processes Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team Physical stamina to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks Basic math and counting skills Willingness to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends or holidays if needed 4.2 Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Behaviours Previous production experience is preferred Ability to read, write and communicate in English would be a plus Familiarity with safety standards (OSHA guidelines) 5. Physical Requirements Standing and Walking: Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 12 hours per shift) on concrete floors in a production environment. Lifting and Carrying: Regularly required to lift and carry materials, and packaging supplies weighing up to 40 lbs Bending, Stooping, and Kneeling: Frequent bending, stooping, and kneeling to set up printing equipment, load materials, and perform maintenance tasks Occasional reaching overhead or below waist level to access supplies and equipment Manual Dexterity: Must have fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination to operate printing machinery, adjust settings, and manage small components with precision Visual and Auditory Acuity: Ability to read print specifications, and computer screens. Must be able to hear equipment alerts and verbal instructions in a moderately noisy environment Environmental Exposure: May be exposed to ink fumes, cleaning chemicals, heat, humidity, and moderate to high noise levels typical of injection molding and printing operations Mobility and Coordination: Must be able to safely navigate production areas, and storage zones with good balance and coordination Our Expectations We expect our people to be guided by The Amcor Way and demonstrate our Values every day to enable the business to win.
