The Expanded Learning Campus Supervisor, under the supervision of the Expanded Learning Manager is responsible for ensuring the safety and supervision of all students during program hours. This individual will actively monitor the campus, ensuring students are where they need to be at all times. Essential duties: Oversee the student sign-out process, ensuring proper parent/guardian verification, and providing excellent communication and customer service. Supervise students returning from the bus, ensuring they transition smoothly into the program. Actively monitor students during snack time, transitions, and throughout program activities. Check and refill water jugs and ensure other essential supplies are stocked and available for students. Maintain a clean and organized campus environment. Collaborate with staff to support program operations and enforce safety procedures. Establish rapport with faculty and students to maintain and enhance a positive school environment Support a positive school culture and school's positive behavior expectations across the campus Monitor general campus, parking lots, and adjacent areas to ensure the safety and well-being of students and staff. Provide direction to unauthorized persons on the campus. Report unauthorized or suspicious persons, vehicles and activities to administrative staff Notifies the administrative staff, police, fire department and other appropriate authorities of security or emergency situations Assists with fire drills and other emergency building evacuations Assist in de-escalation with students as needed Perform other related duties as assigned Pay: $18.00/hour Work Schedule: Monday - Thursday 2:30 PM - 6:30 PM; Friday 11:30 AM - 6:30 PM High School diploma or equivalent One to two years' experience providing supervision to elementary or middle school students preferred Ability to communicate and work effectively with students, families, and staff of diverse ethnic, racial, cultural, educational, and economic backgrounds Ability to successfully pass a background check (including fingerprints) upon official offer and acceptance of a position with WCPA Working Conditions: Environment: Office environment; fast-paced work, constant interruptions. Physical requirements: Hearing and speaking to exchange information, make presentations and communicate over the telephone; seeing to read, prepare, and proofread documents and view computer monitors; sitting or standing for extended periods of time; dexterity of hands and fingers to operate computer keyboard and other office equipment; kneeling, bending at the waist, and reaching overhead, above the shoulders and horizontally, to retrieve and store files and supplies; lifting light objects; ability to go to sites apart from primary office to conduct business.
