Med. as well as serve as an assistant to the Assistant to the Dean to coordinate specialized activities and assist in projects and special events. Job Description Summary The Administrative Associate V is responsible for highly advanced administrative support for the Dean's Office. This position serves as the primary front-line representative providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming, professional environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors. Working with a high degree of professionalism and organizational skill, this role serves as a key administrative support function and central point of contact for the Dean's Office.
Responsibilities
- Supervisor - Supervises, trains, and evaluates the work of Student Workers. Coordinates the delegation of assigned tasks to student workers as appropriate.
- Records Retention - Coordinates the maintenance of electronic tracking logs and facilitates workflow in Laserfiche as initiated by the new supervisor. Assists with file management in LaserFiche as initiated by the new supervisor.
Requirements
- Required Education and Experience
- High school graduation or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5 years of experience in general office and clerical work
- Bachelor's degree
- Dean's Office Experience
- Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
- Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
- Excellent written communication, analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a high stress environment.
- Ability to work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently once given a project.
