- Sales & Profitability Management
- Drive overall sales and profitability by achieving or surpassing annual revenue and gross margin targets.
- Develop yearly operational plans and track performance quarterly to ensure resources-both financial and human-are utilised effectively.
- Partner with Marketing and Technology teams to assess new market opportunities and deliver business cases with estimated ROI within a 60‑day timeframe.
- Stakeholder & Relationship Management
- Build strong, lasting relationships with key customers, suppliers, industry associations, government bodies, and financial/legal partners.
- Represent the company in industry and community platforms to strengthen brand reputation, visibility, and strategic partnerships.
- Align pertinent strategic initiatives with global vertical GIT/GBT heads ( business segment)
- Operational Excellence & Compliance
- Monitor operational KPIs closely and drive improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency by at least 10% each year.
- Ensure the business operates in full compliance with legal, regulatory, and corporate standards, establishing preventive controls to reduce risks.
- Collaborate with Finance to deliver accurate budgets, forecasts, and internal control measures that impact multiple departments.
- Governance & Risk Management
- Oversee and resolve all legal matters affecting the organization, ensuring timely action and comprehensive documentation.
- Implement and reinforce risk‑mitigation frameworks to prevent non‑compliance and strengthen organizational resilience
- People Development - Mentor and develop team members, with special focus on talents, to build a high-performing, growth-oriented workforce.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Experience in the Chemical Industry strongly preferred
- Experience working in large multi-national organizations.
- 10+ years of experience in a leadership role & managing manager level employees
- 15+ years of experience in a sales management role
- Experience with laws and financial reporting practices preferred
- Ability to speak, read and write English
