Our client, a leading provider of cloud-based software solutions, is seeking a proactive and business-minded Legal Director. This is a high-impact role, leading the commercial function and serving as the key legal advisor on commercial transactions and revenue-generating activities. Reporting directly to the Chief Legal Officer, the ideal candidate will bring deep experience negotiating complex SaaS and services agreements, particularly in the public sector, and will thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This is a hands-on role leading a team and will require strong business acumen, excellent judgment, and the ability to balance legal risk with business objectives. The person in this role will work closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Services, Finance, and Operations to support deal flow and help scale legal processes as the company grows. Compensation is targeted at an annual base salary of $225,000 to $245,000, plus equity and generous benefits. The total compensation package will vary and depend on the candidate's level of seniority and number of years of directly relevant experience.
