The Assistant General Counsel position is in the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts (AO), Office of the General Counsel (OGC). Experience: Applicants must also possess at least 3 years of post J.D. experience. Specialized Experience: Subsequent to graduation from law school, applicants must have at least one full year (52 weeks) of specialized experience which is in or directly related to the line of work of this position. Specialized experience is demonstrated experience applying knowledge of federal laws and regulations to government operations; and providing legal advice on novel and complex legal questions as an attorney. Highly Desired: Experience providing legal advice on federal fiscal operations and compliance issues. Experience in litigation in federal courts.
