The RFP Writer is part of the RFP team within Capital Group (CG) Global Client Services (GCS) organisation. The RFP Writer contributes meaningfully to new business growth and supports the retention of CG's existing clients by completing Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs) and Requests for Information (RFIs) on CG's organisation and investment strategies requested by the Europe and Asia clients and prospects. Primary responsibilities: Owns the end-to-end delivery of RFIs, RFPs and DDQs, developing and coordinating high-quality responses that are accurate, timely, and compliant with both internal standards and external requirements. Coordinates and facilitates kick-off calls to review request requirements and to gain a deeper understanding of the client's needs. Partners with Sales teams and other internal groups (Performance Analytics, Product, ESG, Operations, Risk, Compliance) as well as third-party partners to craft compelling written content that articulates our investment philosophy and process across CG strategies and capabilities. Gathers and analyses complex investment data from internal systems, interpreting trends and insights to inform and enhance RFP responses, and applying experience and judgement to determine and validate the most appropriate responses to complex client requests. Leverages our internal content database (Qvidian) and partners with Content Managers to refine and enhance narratives for broader and future use. Responds proactively to ad-hoc requests, demonstrating agility and responsiveness in a fast-paced environment. Serves as the subject matter expert to the business for RFI/RFP/DDQ related information. Identifies and implements process improvements to enhance efficiency and streamline the RFP workflow. Collaborates with project teams, investment specialists and other internal associates on new product initiatives and ad-hoc inquiries to develop content for use in RFIs/ RFPs.
