Please feel free to peruse our website www.alfalaval.com Purpose of the Job Support to maintain and develop QHSE management systems according to relevant standards, to assess/maintain compliance with QHSE legislation and Alfa Laval QHSE Policies and Strategies. Engineer with responsibility for Quality and HSE where unit deliveries are between 30 - 116 MEUR and number of employees between 50 - 200. Both criteria should be fulfilled.

Responsibilities

• Keep risk assessment updated and in compliance with applicable legislation, with focus on equipment/plants, working processes/areas, chemicals and other relevant risks.
• Keep environment analysis updated and in compliance with applicable legislation.
• Develop QHSE management systems, with focus on auditing process, KPIs management, training/competences development, SOPs and instructions and improvement projects/activities.
• Handle quality aspects directly related to manufacturing processes/products to guarantee customer requirements (if defined) are completely fulfilled.
• Support line management in their (line management) QHSE accountability.
• Pollution prevention & controls systems are running as per Alfa laval & legal requirements
• External Parties
• Dealing with local authorities, Pollution Control Board, 3rd party Vendors

Requirements

• Graduate in engineering (Fire)/ Diploma (Fire)
• Advanced diploma in Industrial Safety from MSBTE is mandatory
• 6- 12years of experience working in a plant set up & as a site/factory HSE leader
• Base location - Satara Plant
