Your day-to-day responsibilities Lead and develop a 24/7 satellite operations team, ensuring high performance, accountability, and strong team culture Oversee nominal and non-nominal spacecraft operations, including telemetry monitoring, anomaly detection, and incident handling Ensure operational readiness across shifts, including planning, workload balancing, and peak mission support Drive continuous improvement in operational processes, documentation, and cross-functional coordination with engineering and mission teams
Requirements
- Proven experience leading teams in spacecraft or mission-critical operations environments
- Strong understanding of spacecraft operations, including telemetry monitoring, anomaly handling, and operational procedures
- Experience working in a 24/7 shift-based or high-reliability operational environment
- Ability to coordinate effectively across engineering, software, and operational stakeholders
- Experience in SAR, Earth Observation, or LEO constellation operations
- Familiarity with anomaly review processes, flight software updates, or operational tooling
- Experience supporting customer missions or external operational services
