Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, Civil Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of Civil, Structural and Architectural estimating
• Proficiency in estimating software, CAD software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials and processes.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
• Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accurate estimates and proposals.
• Supervisory Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage a team of estimators, providing guidance, training and support.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Work effectively with cross-functional teams to support company goals.
• Proven ability to manage and mentor a team of estimators.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Work Environment:
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Ability to walk job sites which includes walking uneven surfaces and climbing stairs.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times.
• Travel out of state as required.

Essential Job Responsibilities: - Develop clear project scopes and analyze project requirements to identify potential risks and cost-saving opportunities. - Prepare comprehensive proposals, including detailed cost breakdowns, project timelines, and scope of work. - Review architectural, structural, and civil plans and specifications to identify design related issues and potential risks. - Develop and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and vendors. - Negotiate contracts with clients, ensuring profitability and adherence to project specifications. Collaborate with project managers to ensure smooth execution and timely completion of projects. - Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment. - Keep abreast of industry trends, new technologies, and regulatory changes.
