About the role
Location: Katowice Hybrid model of working Purpose Our oils procurement team is striving to deliver world class solutions in buying raw materials in order to support the sustainable growth of Flora Food Group. The oils procurement team has a pivotal role to play by applying the right sourcing strategies, maintaining relationships with sustainable suppliers and ensure excellent procurement operations and execution. As Procurement Operations Assistant Manager you operate in the heart of the procurement operations for oils. You coordinate and support the procurement team in all activities from Sourcing to Pay. You have a valuable role to play in order to maintain and improve the quality our procurement operations.
Responsibilities
- In your role as Procurement Operations Assistant Manager, you:
- Support the procurement team in their day to day activities to ensure excellent procurement operations.
- Manage the contract book with (key) suppliers and coordinate all actions related to contract management with the planning & procurement operations team. You are the 'owner' of the oils contract book, it is your job to have an accurate and up to date contract book in line with supplier agreements.
- Maintain relationships with your operational/commercial counterparts at key suppliers.
- Manage relationships with service producers (e.g. 3 rd party refiners, external storage locations) and be the first point of contact.
- Are the key user and first point of contact of all procurement systems (e.g. contracting system, supplier quality system, S4P). You train new team members and support the procurement team in case of issues.
- Coordinate supply chain (improvement) projects, both internally and externally.
- Are reporting on global procurement activities for the oils team (e.g. procurement KPI's, global spend, project progress). Next to that you will work together with the "data to insight" team to automate reports.
- Manage & solve issues with (key) suppliers (e.g. supply issues, (complex) invoicing issues), identify root causes and propose improvements.
- Maintain & update critical procurement procedures and monitor adherence & compliance.
- Develop and maintain supplier KPI scorecards.

Requirements
- At least 2-3 years working experience in sales/supply chain
- Proficiency in English required
- Project Management skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- SAP S4H experience preferable but not mandatory
- Experience with commodities and reporting is a pre.
