Responsibilities

  • Manage your pipeline: Maintain an accurate, up-to-date pipeline in our CRM, ensuring rigorous forecasting and timely follow-up on every lead and opportunity.
  • Know the market: Track industry trends, competitive movements, and emerging opportunities across your regions to inform strategy and identify new areas for growth.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with marketing, product, meteorology, and customer success teams to ensure client satisfaction and feed market insight back into product development.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in sales, business development, or account management, with a focus on selling data products, SaaS, or API-based solutions.
  • A demonstrated track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets and quotas.
  • Strong understanding of the weather and climate industry, or deep experience selling digital transformation into data-driven sectors such as energy, maritime, aviation, agriculture, or logistics.
  • A consultative, value-based selling style with excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain trusted client relationships across cultures, time zones, and seniority levels.
  • Proficiency with modern sales tools (e.g., Salesforce or similar CRM, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Lusha).
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and effective working independently in a remote, globally distributed team.
  • Fluent in English; willingness to travel across the territory as needed.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, preferably in a high-tech field.

We are seeking an ambitious, self-directed Sales Manager to accelerate revenue growth across EMEA and APAC and advance the digitization of the global weather and climate ecosystem. Operating with the autonomy of a regional owner, you will expand Spire's market presence across key industry segments, leverage our partner ecosystem to drive adoption of our forecast data, APIs, and decision-support solutions, and consistently exceed sales targets. This is a high-impact, quota-carrying role for a seller who is energized by how data and software are reshaping traditional industries and who wants to sell a product that is, quite literally, powered by space.
