Responsibilities

  • You will play a vital role in supporting families by:
  • Providing 1:1 and group-based support to children, young people, and families using a range of evidence-based interventions.

  • A Level 3 qualification in Childcare (or an equivalent qualification)
  • Experience working with children, young people, or families, either in a paid or voluntary capacity.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A clear understanding of safeguarding and the confidence to follow procedures appropriately.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to maintain clear and accurate written records.
  • A genuine commitment to making a positive difference within the community.

Are you passionate about helping children, young people, and families achieve positive change? We are looking for a compassionate and motivated Family Support Worker to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with families, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is committed to safeguarding and improving outcomes for children. Working pattern: Monday to Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required. Location: The role involves travel between four Family Hubs and undertaking community-based home visits across the Ladywood District.
