About the role

About the position: This position will be assigned to the Fitness Center on Nellis AFB, NV. This position is an NTE position, not to exceed 30 September 2026. Flexible employees have no guaranteed hours but may work up to 40 hours per week. This position does not offer benefits. Requires physical ability to demonstrate use of fitness equipment. Must be able to lift overhead and carry items up to 45 pounds. Subject to an uncommon tour of duty and required use of uniform. Who May Apply: Open to everyone. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Experience in responsible clerical or other office work of any kind that demonstrated the ability to perform the duties of the position. Ability to resolve common math problems and receive payments from contractors. Practical knowledge of recreational activities, rules, procedures, equipment, skill, and use in maintenance of various recreational facilities is desirable. Must be able to communicate both orally and in writing.
