Responsibilities

- Oversee inventory and readiness of all security equipment, including radios, uniforms, keys, flashlights, and technology; order and deploy replacements as needed.
- Provide support for fire drills, system integrity tests, penetration tests, and other life safety exercises.
- Administration & Reporting
- Review and approve payroll for accuracy of hours worked and billed; help control overtime and minimize additional costs for the client and company.
- Maintain the master schedule of open posts; coordinate recruiting needs and communicate staffing gaps to HR for action.
- Update and process all Time Off Requests, ensuring schedule coverage and proper documentation for HR.
- Attend and lead all required operations and staff meetings (weekly operations calls, bi-weekly in-person staff meetings, quarterly supervisor/dispatcher meetings).
- Prepare and present weekly summaries of operations, key activities, incidents, staffing changes, equipment/technology updates, site needs, and training status.
- Publish and distribute weekly schedules at least two weeks in advance, communicating changes clearly to all officers.
- Maintain and share an updated weekly accountability/coverage spreadsheet for management and field teams.
- Regularly report to Property Management on incident trends, investigations, and overall security and life safety performance.
- Liaison & Relationship Management
- Serve as primary liaison between Property Management and security provider leadership, communicating status, needs, and strategic recommendations.
- Maintain strong tenant and client relationships by routinely engaging with stakeholders, responding to concerns, and proactively identifying service improvements.
- People Leadership & Training
- Lead, coach, and develop assistant leaders, supervisors, dispatchers, and line officers to maintain a high-performing team.
- Manage all staff communications and disciplinary actions for assigned sites, partnering with Operations and HR on corrective and performance actions.
- Ensure all training folders, certifications, and required courses are current for each position (Officer, Shift Supervisor, Dispatcher, etc.).
