Construction Project Manager - Commercial & Government Projects

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field with 4-7 years of experience working for a commercial or industrial general contractor; or
• 10+ years of directly related construction project management experience in place of a degree.
• Proven experience estimating and managing both subcontracted and self-performed construction work.
• Strong knowledge of commercial and institutional construction methods, renovation projects, and site work.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets, email, and construction management software.
• Experience using Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project for scheduling.
• Ability to lift and handle up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to walk active construction sites, climb ladders and stairs, and perform regular field inspections.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Position Overview We are looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead commercial and institutional construction projects from planning through final closeout. This role is responsible for overseeing every phase of the project lifecycle, including estimating, contracting, scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor management, and client communication. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities while ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to high-quality standards. Most projects are valued at up to $2 million and may be delivered through IDIQ, lump-sum, or fast-track contract methods.
