Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of market-based projects and identify investment opportunities to grow the Liquids Pipelines business.
  • Act as a client-facing business development lead, building positive relationships with refiners, shippers, and merchant terminal customers.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of liquids pipeline systems, terminals operations, and North American crude oil markets (especially U.S. Mid-Continent).
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external customers.
  • Exceptional negotiation, influencing, and interpersonal skills, with experience engaging senior executives.
  • Advanced analytical, financial, and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Experience working within complex, cross-functional environments and getting results collaboratively.
  • Preferred:
  • Extensive knowledge of the North American liquids' market, refineries, producers, and midstream companies.
  • Established industry network and strong relationships across key market players.
  • In-depth understanding of crude oil flows, pipeline systems, and market dynamics.
  • Post-graduate degree in Engineering, Economics, or Commerce is considered an asset.
  • Working Conditions:
  • Office environment with some travel required to asset locations, customer sites and business conferences in Canada and the US.
