About the role

You'll be the front line for getting Jenny in front of real businesses. This isn't a "shadow and observe" internship - you'll be building your own pipeline and speaking to prospective customers , with guidance and coaching as you go.

Responsibilities

  • Build pipeline: Identify and list out target businesses (salons, gyms, clinics, and adjacent service businesses) across Singapore using maps, directories, and other sourcing methods
  • Learn to qualify sectors: Work with the founder to understand which sub-sectors and business types are the best fit for Jenny, and refine targeting criteria as you go
  • Cold outreach: Reach out to prospects via cold calling and messaging (WhatsApp, Instagram DM, email) to introduce Jenny and book demos
  • In-person meetings: Visit business owners on-site to demo Jenny, answer questions, and move them toward a trial or sign-up
  • Track everything: Keep pipeline data, call notes, and outcomes organized so we can see what's working and improve the approach
  • Iterate on messaging: Help test and refine outreach scripts, demo flow, and objection handling based on real conversations
  • The role has a commission based plan where the right intern has the opportunity to earn more than the monthly stipend based on sales performance.

  • Singapore-based, available for in-person meetings around the island
  • Comfortable picking up the phone and knocking on doors - this role is outbound-heavy
  • Good spoken and written English; mandarin a plus for talking to a range of business owners
  • Organized : you'll be tracking your own pipeline and need to follow up consistently
  • Curious about AI and SMB tech, even without prior sales experience
  • Resilient : cold outreach means a lot of "no" before you get to "yes," and we want someone who can stay motivated through that
