About the role
Telstra Digital is Telstra's e-commerce and digital customer service channel for consumer and small business customers, supporting millions every week across platforms like Telstra.com.au and the MyTelstra app. We also manage Telstra Plus, our loyalty program with over 6 million members . Responsibilities
- In this role, you'll have accountability for:
- Product Ownership & Management (Primary)
- Establish ing and lead ing a strong product ownership model across mobile and web
- Ensur ing Product Owners are accountable for outcomes, prioritisation, and decisions
- Maintain ing clear ownership boundaries across journeys, platforms, and services
- Driv ing product strategy and backlog aligned to commercial priorities
- Coach ing Product Owners into senior operators with end-to-end accountability
- Technical Understanding & Engineering Partnership
- Maintain ing strong working understanding of mobile, web, and API architectures
- Ensur ing product decisions are grounded in technical capability and constraints
- Partner ing closely with Engineering Leads and Chapter Leads on delivery planning and trade-offs
- Support ing alignment on scalable, reusable solutions across teams
- Balan cing delivery pace with long-term platform integrity
- Delivery & Team Leadership (Mobile + Web)
- Lead ing teams responsible for building and running mobile and web applications (iOS, Android, web)
- Driv ing a balanced delivery approach across frontend and backend
- Maintain ing execution discipline across prioritisation, dependencies, and delivery cadence
- Ensur ing high standards of delivery quality, stability, and performance
- Build ing and lead ing high-performing teams across product, engineering, and delivery
