Job Summary As Director of Event t, you will lead the Events Management and Sales team and collaborate with cross-divisional leaders todrive event sales revenue, enhance service quality, and deliver exceptional guest experiences at Shangri-La Rasa Sentosa and The Palawan @ Sentosa. As a Directorof Event , we rely on you to: Works with Singapore Centre of Excellence ("COE") Sales Leaders and leads and directs the Events Management team to achieve the total events sales total revenue goals Plays a vital managerial role to cohere cross divisional cooperatons from Hotel Operations, COE Sales, Global Sales Office and sisters hotels to drive business growth and to acheive best-in-class events services. Responsible for driving and providing training and development for the Events Team Contributing ideas and feedback to the operation team for service enhancements, innovation and greater operational efficiencies Able to establishes the annual banquet and catering revenue budget, establishes profitable pricing and produces event P&Ls monthly to analyse profitability. Ensure the guests' hotel experience are of the highest standard Create an exceptional experience for our guests We are looking for someone who: Demonstrated passion for event management with relevant experiences in the field Confident and tactful leadership style that fosters a friendly, helpful, and trustworthy team environment Self-driven and goal-oriented mindset with the ability to challenge the status quo and think creatively Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and a guest-oriented approach Ability to multitask effectively and commit additional time as needed to meet objectives Excellent selling, communication, and interpersonal skills to engage clients and stakeholders Keeps current with industry trends and market practices to maintain competitive advantage Enjoys taking on challenges and driving continuous improvement If you are the right person, what are you waiting for?
