About the role
This position is located in the Commander, Navy Region Mid-Atlantic, Fleet and Family Readiness Support Services Office, Facilities department. The purpose of this position is to assist with facilities maintenance work. The incumbent performs intermediate level tasks and works more independently as training and experience increase. Knowledge of safety and environmental rules and regulations concerning procedures, tools, mechanical and electrified equipment, commonly used chemicals and basic safe work practices. Must have the ability to manage multiple priorities and respond quickly and effectively to changing program needs and regulations. Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written skills
