AECOM is seeking Environmental Engineer to be based in Bangalore . The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Provides technical support for a variety of utility design related projects, including coastal restoration, treatment plants, pump/booster stations, water line and collection line design, rehabilitation, master planning, and construction administration. Creates designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings. Work under supervision of a senior project manager in the water/wastewater/water resources practice or senior level team members. Utilize basic engineering principles, judgement, theories, practices, and existing technologies to develop solutions for technical problems. Work on routine or detailed engineering assignments involving calculations and engineering analyses. Perform work with little supervision. Propose approaches to solve new problems. Identify discrepancies in outcomes, results, and analysis of engineering tasks. Participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables. Record field data using tablets and GPS units. Record and interpret data, conduct analyses, prepare reports, and compare findings to relevant studies and local, state, and federal regulations to ensure compliance. Perform data gathering site visits, field measurements, mapping, and observations during construction. Performs quality control review of design calculations or drawings. Software use includes, but is not limited to: AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcGIS, Bentley and/or hydraulic modeling packages. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Engineering Science, or related degree.
