Responsibilities
- Specific responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
- Monitor, track and analyze performance at the investment, portfolio and fund level.
- Create and update client portfolio reports (monthly/quarterly/ ad hoc); prepare ongoing and ad hoc investor data requests, fund performance queries and reports, while collaborating with Valuation, Fund Accounting and Investor Relations teams.
- Assist in the operational due diligence of existing and potential new investors
- Coordinate and interact with investor relations, compliance, portfolio managers, and operations around new product launches, servicing clients, and delivering custom requests
- Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in relevant Business-related field (Finance, Economics, Accounting, etc)
- 2-5 years of relevant portfolio analytics experience, preferably within the alternative asset management industry (Private Credit, Private Equity, Hedge, etc)
- A strong understanding of private equity and financial markets
- Strong knowledge of accounting and finance
- Fluency in written and spoken English is essential
- Exceptionally strong excel skills
- Strong organizational and process management skills
- A demonstrated strong work ethic and desire to work in a collaborative, small team environment
- Python and SQL knowledge is a plus

About this role BlackRock's Private Financing Solutions division ("PFS") is currently seeking an Associate level candidate to join our Portfolio Analytics & Reporting team to focus on our Private Equity platform. The Portfolio Analytics & Reporting team is responsible for timely and accurate delivery of performance reporting and risk metrics both internally to portfolio managers and externally to investors. The team works closely with Product Specialist, Investor Relations, Fund Accounting, Operations and Valuation teams.
