EICA Drafter

Responsibilities

• Prepare and complete all required instrument loop diagrams as a core component of the overall EICA engineering documentation package.
• Update, revise, and incorporate drafting changes stemming from design development, comments resolution, and interface coordination with key stakeholders including ABB, vendors, and internal engineering teams.
• Produce high-quality drawings in the specified project format, ensuring document quality, drafting consistency, accurate numbering, and robust revision control.
• Ensure meticulous alignment and cross-referencing of loop diagrams with critical project documents such as RIO panel schematic diagrams (provided by ABB), I/O lists, instrument indexes, cable schedules, and junction box details.
• Maintain consistent drafting of tag numbers, terminal numbers, loop references, and signal paths across all related drawings.
• Accurately represent field-to-panel connections for instrumentation and control interfaces.
• Complete comprehensive loop diagrams detailing necessary wiring and interface specifics, including cable numbers, core identification, terminal block connections, and power supply distribution.
• Timely incorporate review comments and issue updated revisions to effectively support engineering, construction, and commissioning activities.

Requirements

• Proven proficiency in AutoCAD, specifically for EICA (Electrical, Instrumentation, Control, Automation) engineering documentation.
• Demonstrable experience in preparing and managing instrument loop diagrams and related schematic documentation.
• Strong understanding of instrumentation and control systems within industrial or power generation environments.
• Ability to interpret and integrate information from various sources (e.g., RIO panel schematics, I/O lists, cable schedules).
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of drafting quality and consistency.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills to effectively liaise with engineering teams, vendors, and clients.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary project team.
• Experience with large-scale industrial projects is highly advantageous.

EICA AutoCAD Drafter (6 month contract) Location: Singapore Navsar is seeking a highly skilled and meticulous EICA AutoCAD Drafter to join our project team. This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to critical infrastructure projects, focusing on the detailed preparation and management of instrumentation and control documentation. Role Overview: As an EICA AutoCAD Drafter, you will be instrumental in the preparation, update, coordination, and completion of precise instrument loop diagrams and related schematic documentation. Your expertise will ensure the accuracy and consistency of engineering drawings for a significant project involving approximately 95 control panels and 9,100 I/O points, supporting the current engineering phase through to construction and commissioning. Location: Singapore - Tuas Nexus Engagement Period: Minimum 6-month engagement, with strong potential for extension based on project progress and requirements.
