Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of pharmaceutical experience.
  • 5+ years of pharmaceutical or specialty sales and key account management experience.
  • Strongly desired at least 2+ years' experience in Oncology and/or Urology
  • Bladder Cancer experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated success leading teams within large, organized customers/IDNs.
  • Prior job experience in regional / national accounts, key account management, marketing, market access, analytics, training or related roles is preferred.
  • Product launch experience is preferred.
  • Experience with buy and bill outpatient facilities strongly preferred.
  • Extensive travel is required to perform job duties.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated strong analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated business and strategic planning skills to identify unique selling opportunities and adaptability to changing market conditions.

  • Sitting approximately 3 - 4 hours at a time while driving or as a passenger and operating an automobile up to 60% of the time depending upon the geography of the territory.

  • Climbing stairs and/or ramps may be required in certain urban territories where the use of public transportation may be necessary during the course of the work day.

The Regional Sales Director is responsible for the oversight of all business and product promotion within an assigned geographical area, as well as the professional development and management of sales specialists on his/her team with the goal of increasing sales in his/her assigned area. This position will require the ability to coach and guide team members in navigating the intricacies of urologic & uro-oncologic settings of care.
