  • Pay will be adjusted to the local market if hired outside of the Bay Area .

Job Description: The Medical Assistant Medical Oncology/Infusion Outpatient Specialty Center (OSC) is part of a multi-disciplinary team providing consistent quality care to our patients. The Medical Assistant (MA) works with the nurses, the physicians, support staff and other members of the primary or specialty care team by performing a variety of clinical and administrative patient-related duties, in the "Front Office" or "Back Office" at the OSC. The MA also works to fulfill a variety of patient needs and ensures smooth patient flow within the department, including gathering, organizing, and documenting healthcare data information. The MA will be responsible for answering and routing patient calls, scheduling of patient appointments per department guidelines. The medical assistant reports directly to the Supervisor within the Medical Oncology/Infusion area at the OSC. Education: Completion of Medical Assistant Program - Accredited Required
