Responsibilities
- Location: Kassel
- Reports to: General Manager, Kassel Operations
- Lead and stabilize daily production operations in a fast-paced hardware environment.
- Scale production capacity within resource constraints while improving throughput.
- Mitigate material shortages, supply delays, and supplier issues through proactive coordination.
- Improve FPY, reduce rework, and drive effective root-cause corrective actions.
- Manage cross-functional dependencies across Production, Engineering, Quality, Warehouse, and Purchasing.
- Execute pilot builds and support industrialization for new products or variants.
- Implement and enhance standardized processes, SOPs, work instructions, and production flow.
- Lead teams through operational challenges including variability, quality concerns, and equipment limitations.
- What You Bring
- 7+ years of experience in Operations, Production Management, or Manufacturing Leadership.
- Strong background in hardware or electronics assembly environments.
- Proven experience managing daily production operations, throughput, takt, and FPY.
- Solid understanding of MRP, production planning, and capacity management.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (D365, NetSuite, SAP, or similar).
- Experience working cross-functionally with Quality, Engineering, Warehouse, and Purchasing.
- Ability to lead pilot builds, support NPI readiness, and implement new production processes.
- Demonstrated success improving KPIs such as output, rework, cycle time, and process stability.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proficiency in English and German.
