Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of transport planning and economic advisory projects for public and private sector clients.

  • Here is what we are looking for:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant discipline such as Transport Planning, Civil Engineering, Transport Economics, Urban/Regional Planning.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in data analysis, statistics, and economic appraisal.
  • Knowledge of transport planning principles, infrastructure appraisal, and policy analysis.
  • Experience with data visualisation and spatial analysis tools (e.g., GIS such as ArcGIS or QGIS).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Familiarity with analytical tools such as R, Python, or similar data analysis software is advantageous.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly and effectively.
  • Strong written report preparation and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Demonstrated interest in the transport sector and commitment to professional development.

Here is what you will be doing: We are seeking an ambitious and motivated Transport Planning Consultant to support the delivery of a diverse portfolio of transport planning and economics projects. Working within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team, the role will focus on providing technical analysis and advisory support to primarily public sector clients across transport infrastructure, mobility strategy, and investment planning. The successful candidate will contribute to projects from concept through to evaluation, including strategic transport studies, infrastructure business cases, sustainable mobility strategies, and transport policy development.
