Service Technician (Automotive)

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repair work on motor vehicles.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and electronic faults.
• Repair and replace defective vehicle components and parts.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and identify necessary repair work.
• Use diagnostic equipment and workshop tools effectively.
• Carry out servicing in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
• Maintain accurate service records and job reports.
• Ensure workshop cleanliness and comply with workplace safety procedures.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanical, electrical and electronic systems.
• Able to independently diagnose and repair vehicle faults.
• Familiar with automotive diagnostic equipment and workshop tools.
• Physically fit and able to work in a workshop environment.
• Responsible, detail-oriented and able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Willing to work overtime when required.
