About the role

Per 5 CFR 335.103(c)(3)(v), This is a non-competitive reassignment opportunity open to those qualified who hold (or have held) a position equivalent to (or higher than) an ND-05 (GS-14/15 equivalent) on a permanent basis in the competitive service. You will serve as a MANAGER in the Sensors & SONAR System Department, Code 155 Surface Ship and Aviation Systems Division of NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV NEWPORT RI. In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the ND-04 (GS-12/13 equivalency) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: leading or managing Navy acquisition projects and programs to include complete pre-planning tasks, planning, and execution of large-scale systems engineering and undersea warfare capability projects to integrate new technologies into existing operations.
