  • Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $31.00-37.50 per hour.

Owned by FOX Corporation, FOX News Media reaches 200 million people each month. JOB DESCRIPTION Fox News Channel is seeking a multi-skilled Freelance Studio Technician to join our DC Bureau. In this role, you will provide technical support for both studio and control room operations. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in studio production and can step into multiple roles as needed, including stage manager, robotic camera operator, teleprompter operator, audio assistant, and video shader. A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Work with technical staff to satisfy production needs for live and pre-recorded programming Assist stage manager with setting up and breaking down show sets Perform facility checks with A1 and stage manager for all mic and IFB positions in studio before daily production begins, including studio set up Proactively assist stage manager in maintaining the integrity of the studio and all associated audio equipment Assist on-air hosts and guests as needed to facilitate production Operate teleprompter during live and recorded productions Operate both robotic and non-robotic cameras consistent with established guidelines for framing, shot composition, timing, and equipment handling
