Travel: Travel required to a marshaling point. Live Out Allowance: Choose between a living allowance of $70 per day with lodging provided, OR $150 per day in lieu of providing board and lodging. Responsibilities
- Trim, prune, and remove trees or branches that pose a risk to utility infrastructure
- Use industry-standard techniques to safely remove trees without causing damage
- Operate equipment such as chainsaws, pole saws, aerial lifts, chipper trucks, and cranes
- Train and supervise crew members in safe practices around high-voltage equipment
- Maintain accurate records of vegetation management activities
- Document completed work for utility or regulatory compliance
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and protect nearby habitats
- Perform other duties as required
- Experience and Knowledge Expectations:
- Certified Utility Arborist (CUA).
- Valid Class 5 drivers' license, with air endorsement or willingness to obtain.
- Applicants must pass pre-employment drug screening.
- Current First Aid with CPR or willingness to obtain.
- Ability to withstand exposure to all kinds of weather and environmental conditions.
