About the role

This position is part of the Defense Threat Reduction Agency. You may qualify at the GS-15, if you fulfill the following qualifications: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service: Providing vision and direction in leading a high performing team at a 3 or 4-star agency or headquarters; Leading communication efforts across all forms (written, verbal, etc...) with high level officials to ensure the proper flow of critical information; Applying a broad-scoped understanding of DTRA's CBRN-Defense and Counter WMD enterprise and functions; Possessing a strong understanding of DoW and Chairman's Exercise Program plans, coordination tools, and key events, and; Formulates and establishes requirements and performance goals, priorities, budget requirements, technical and operational baselines, and best practices. (EXPERIENCE MUST BE CLEARLY DEMONSTRATED IN YOUR RESUME) Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
