The Job: The Outdoor Power Equipment Division of Stanley Black & Decker is looking for an Associate Product Manager to join the Residential Ride-On product team. In this hybrid role, you will have the opportunity to expand and maintain major product lines targeting residential lawn maintenance. This role requires strong project management skills and the ability to effectively work with others across the organization including engineering, brand marketing, IT, sales and supply chain. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated and have a strong work ethic along with experience managing the complete life cycle of products, conducting market research, and working with financial data. Direct and coordinate strategic marketing activities to achieve operating plans for the business; you'll have overall responsibility for the profitability, promotion, pricing, merchandising and new product plans for Anchors and Fastener's within the C&I channel. Work with the Commercial teams in collaboration with Product, Brand, Supply Chain and Finance to develop strategic initiatives Present new products, merchandising, and promotional strategies to buyers and successfully execute market communication plans and new product launches Interface with Brand Marketing team for production of point of purchase materials Analyze and track POS, inventory, market share, and competitive landscapes Track program/promotional effectiveness and recommend changes and improvements, as required Work closely with the Sales and Finance teams to manage listings, maximizing sales and profitability via mix management, promotional opportunities, and pricing actions Technical sales field support - Submittals, Standardized training decks, competitive cross references. Support third-party sales repping agencies, including commission reports, performance updates, and provide inventory/warehouse coordination and visibility to support order fulfillment.
