Position Responsibilities: Develop and maintain effective relationships with Customers Exhibit strategic relationship management and consultative selling Optimize Customer satisfaction and loyalty by aligning Customer objectives with Manulife John Hancock business targets Serve as an advocate for the Customer and act as an industry expert Contribute in meaningful ways to the broader Strategic Relationship Management team and the John Hancock organization Individual Accountabilities: Achieve all annual metrics - retention, customer profitability, and engagement Learn Manulife John Hancock Retirement products, features, and services and apply as appropriate Effectively manage internal and external customer relationships and leverage available resources Exhibit consultative selling and negotiation skills; optimize product features, plan design, and employee retirement readiness Demonstrate executive presence and subject matter expertise to instill confidence and strategically influence outcomes that align Customer and Manulife John Hancock objectives Follow all company and department-level processes and procedures, including meeting materials preparation and presentation format, travel and expense, CRM documentation, and data integrity Support new sales and market development initiatives Required Qualifications: Valid Driver's License FINRA Series 6 or 7, and 63 or 66, State Insurance licensing, or ability to obtain required licenses within 6 months Experience in retirement, financial services, or institutional relationship management Proven track record managing strategic or complex customer accounts Experience influencing senior-level customer and internal stakeholders Understanding of retirement plan design and employee financial wellness strategies Ability to develop strategy, set goals, and pivot effectively in dynamic environments Demonstrated initiative, motivation, accountability, and resilience in a changing environment Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills Ability to analyze complex customer relationships and execute against strategic goals Strong business acumen, executive presence, and communication skills Proven ability to build rapport and partner effectively with internal and external stakeholders When you join our team: We'll empower you to learn and grow the career you want.
