EHS Coordinator (1 Year Contract Renewable/Up to $6000)

Responsibilities

• Responsible for implementation of health, safety and environmental policies, procedures and guidelines including review and recommendations at site.
• Ensure site complies with the relevant and latest Workplace Safety, Health and Environmental regulations and maintain proper documentation of all safety records,certificates, notice and official related WSHE correspondence.
• Responsible for investigating, analyzing and determining cause of any incident, accident or dangerous occurrence at site and recommend preventive measures.
• Organize WSH related meetings, training and promotional campaign / activity.
• Conduct daily WSH inspections and follow-ups to ensure WSH compliance.
• Liaises with Main Contractors and relevant agencies / authorities on WSH issues.
• Vet through and comment Method Statement, Risk Assessments and other WSH plans.
• Assess WSH conditions for PTW application daily.
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by superior.

Requirements

• Certificate in Safety Coordinator / Advance certificate in Workplace Safety & Health.
• Minimum two (2) years' of relevant safety experience.
• Knowledge of Workplace Safety & Health Act.
• Knowledge of PTW system.
• Knowledge in preparing EHS report.
• Willing to travel around project site offices within Singapore.
