Serves as a Human Resources Officer in the Human Resources Department of the Hale Koa Hotel. 2026 Cost of Living Allowance (COLA) for Honolulu, HI is 8.64%. Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and abilities (KSAs) as they pertain to this position. A qualified candidate must possess the following: Progressively responsible experience and training that demonstrates the ability to successfully perform the duties listed above. Must have specialized experience of a minimum of 3 years managing the activities of a diverse HR office performing the full-range of support assignments in more than one personnel specialty area. Communication skills are essential both in writing and speaking. In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": Labor management experience as a member of a negotiating team or as chief negotiator. Experience working with higher headquarters in advising or making policy and regulatory changes. A general knowledge of the law is required (5 USC), as well as working knowledge of the Department of Defense Instruction, DODI 1400.25, and Army Regulation AR 215-3.
