Responds to emergent situations that could require Respiratory support. Peds-RRTs should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean or stoop without difficulty. Peds-RRTs should be able to easily lift 20 pounds. Moving or lifting of patients may require lifting of up to 50 pounds at times. Peds-RRTs must have specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Must have 1 year of experience. Must have NBRC-RRT, BLS, and ACLS. PALS and NRP may be required in some areas.
