About the role

Serves as the Supervisory Information Technology Specialist (PLCYPLN/INFOSEC) GS-2210-15, serving as the Chief of the Technology Enhancement Division and Agency Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) HQ, Fort Lee, VA. To qualify for Supervisory Information Technology Specialist (PLCYPLN/INFOSEC) at the GS-15 level, your resume and supporting documentation must support: Examples of qualifying specialized experience include: GS-15: Serving in a senior leadership role with enterprise-wide authority over IT infrastructure, systems, cybersecurity, and enterprise technology operations. Directing multiple subordinate IT organizations or functional areas (e.g., infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, networks, enterprise services). Providing enterprise-wide leadership and final authority over IT strategy, architecture, governance, cybersecurity, and operational execution. Leading major IT modernization, integration, acquisition, and sustainment efforts, including contract oversight and source selection for complex systems. Managing enterprise IT budgets and representing the organization in executive-level negotiations, interagency engagements, and high-impact IT policy forums. Time-in-grade applies to the promotion of current and former federal employees who hold or have held a permanent GS position in either the competitive or excepted service in the previous 52 weeks, including current employees applying under VEOA. Time after competitive appointment. Current federal civilian employees must have completed at least 90 days of federal civilian service since being selected for a non-temporary appointment from a competitive examination register of eligibles (an announcement opened to the public) or under a direct hire authority.
