Core Responsibilities Hires, evaluates, and supervises crew. Provides guidance and training as necessary to develop crew. Sets performance standards, reviews performance, and makes informed compensation decisions in accordance with all applicable Human Resources policies and procedures. Manages and oversees crew relations cases of medium complexity. Mentors and provide coaching to crew and leaders. Recommends solutions to senior management on business strategy and its effects on crew. Advocates for the HR agenda with senior business leaders. Aligns the business with global HR policies and programs. Conducts workforce planning activities within aligned business areas. Consults with aligned business areas to develop HR strategies that support the needs of the business. Implements HR initiatives within the business area and acts as a liaison to other human resources functions. Manages and develops initiatives that align with the development of HR strategy. Provides guidance on diversity, inclusion, and engagement topics. Partners with other Human Resources specialists to strategize and implement the best outcomes for the assigned business areas and Vanguard at large. Makes recommendations and provides improvement insight regarding program goals and objectives in all areas of Human Resources management. Delivers reports to the business on key HR trends and metrics. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
