About the Role To be considered for this role, you must have the ability to work between Wynyard and Latrobe. Shifts are available across days, evenings, weekends, sleepovers, and active nights. We are currently seeking support workers for a mix of roles including: Complex & Behaviour Support Supporting participants with higher or more complex needs, including those who may display behaviours of concern, using consistent and trauma-informed approaches. Shift Work (Supported Accommodation) We also offer general shift work in supported accommodation settings . These shifts may involve assisting participants with daily routines, personal care, household tasks, and overnight support. Key Responsibilities Provide person-centered support tailored to each participant's goals and needs Assist with daily living activities including personal care, manual handling, and medication support Support participants to access the community and build independence Respond calmly and effectively to challenging situations Build positive, trusting relationships with participants Work collaboratively within a supportive team environment Essential Requirements NDIS Worker Screening Check & Working with Vulnerable People Check Current First Aid & CPR Certificate Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module Driver's licence and reliable vehicle Ability to work from Wynyard to Latrobe Desirable Medication endorsement Experience supporting participants with complex needs or behaviour support Certificate III in Disability / Individual Support (or similar) Who This Role Suits Whether you're interested in starting a career in disability support, or looking for flexible shift work, this role offers a variety of shorter and longer shifts, weekend work, and flexible roster options.
