Business Consultant - Engineering (QS) | ERP & Construction Systems Location: London / Hybrid Job Type: Full-Time Industry: Construction Technology / ERP Consulting About the Role We are looking for a Business Consultant - Engineering (QS) with strong construction commercial and operational experience to support ERP and digital transformation projects within the construction industry. This role is ideal for candidates with a Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Construction Management, or Civil Engineering background who have exposure to ERP systems, construction software platforms, and process-driven project environments. The successful candidate will work closely with clients, stakeholders, project teams, and technical consultants to support implementation, process improvement, construction workflows, and operational transformation initiatives. Key Responsibilities Gather and analyse business requirements within construction project environments ERP implementation and digital transformation initiatives Work closely with commercial, operational, and finance teams Understand and map construction workflows and project lifecycle processes Support BOQ, CVR, procurement, tendering, cost control, and commercial reporting processes Conduct stakeholder workshops and client discussions Coordinate with project delivery, implementation, and support teams Assist with documentation, UAT, reporting, and process optimisation Support construction system integrations and workflow improvements Required Experience & Skills Background in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Commercial Management Strong understanding of: BOQ (Bill of Quantities) CVR Reporting JCT Contracts Procurement & Tendering Cost Control & Commercial Management Experience working on construction, infrastructure, fit-out, civil, FM, or project-based environments Exposure to ERP implementation or construction management systems Experience with systems/tools such as: Procore Dynamics 365 / D365 SAP Oracle Construction ERP platforms Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Client-facing experience preferred Preferred Experience in ERP consulting, business analysis, or digital transformation environments Exposure to UAT, process mapping, workflow coordination, or reporting RICS/Civil Engineering/Construction-related qualifications preferred What We Offer Opportunity to work on large-scale ERP and construction transformation projects Exposure to leading construction technology platforms Hybrid working environment Career growth within consulting and digital transformation space Collaborative and professional working culture
