Pcv Shift Master Technician Engineer - Kettering

Responsibilities

• Carrying out complex diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs to PCV vehicles
• Using diagnostic equipment to identify and fix mechanical and electrical faults
• All levels of repair up to and including engine overhauls
• Supporting and mentoring engineering apprentices
• Assisting with vehicle issues both in the depot and out on the road
• Maintaining high safety, quality, and compliance standards across the fleet

Requirements

• Minimum Level 3 BTEC/NVQ (or equivalent) in HGV/PCV maintenance
• Dual skilled Mechanical/Electrical with proven experience and specialist training, in particular in advanced diagnostics & repairs
• Demonstrable previous Engineering experience, with a vehicular focus i.e. bus, HGV / LGV, truck, haulage, automotive, plant, rail, farm etc
• Ability to diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical faults
• A proactive, safety-first mindset with attention to detail and pride in doing a job well
