How you succeed To succeed in this role, you'll need to be able to extract insights from complex data sets and communicate those insights effectively to stakeholders. You'll work closely with business users to understand their needs and develop reports and dashboards that meet those needs. You'll also need to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in business intelligence.

Responsibilities

  • Work with business stakeholders to identify data gaps and support growth opportunities
  • Build and manage data pipelines and data architecture for analytics and business use
  • Implement and maintain data processes, including scheduling and change management
  • Automate reports and dashboards using scripting
  • Develop data visualizations and dashboards for business insights
  • Present data findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders
  • Keep up with latest trends in data engineering and analytics
  • What are we looking for:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in data analytics / data engineering or related area
  • Proficient in Python and SQL
  • Experience with Hadoop, databases, DBT, Dagster, and Git
  • Strong knowledge of data engineering, ETL, and automation
  • Experience in dashboard development and Power BI (or similar tools)
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change
