About the role

You will serve as a Contract Specialist of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT. In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Must hold DAWIA Professional Contracting Certificate or equivalent. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Experience with a wide array of contracts, including firm-fixed price (FFP), small and large dollar acquisitions; 2) Experience managing complex acquisitions throughout the entire contract lifecycle; 3) Experience performing cost and price analyses to determine price reasonableness; 4) Leading a negotiation and developing the government's position by analyzing cost or price elements or information; 5) Experience collaborating with cross-functional, multi-disciplinary teams (such as technical, legal, and program managers) and external contractors to resolve complex acquisition challenges. This includes coordinating stakeholder efforts to resolve critical issues impacting the procurement, delivery, and readiness of supply parts.
