Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed design drawings and engineering models in accordance with project specifications and standards.
- Support hydraulic and/or structural modeling activities under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Coordinate with project engineers and discipline leads to ensure consistency and accuracy in design output.
- Assist in quantity take-offs , BOQs, and preparation of design calculations and documentation.
- Participate in design reviews and incorporate comments to meet technical and quality expectations.
- Maintain organised design records and ensure adherence to AECOM quality and safety systems.
- Bachelor's degree ( BE / B.Tech ) in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering .
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in design and modeling roles.
- Hands-on experience in preparation of design drawings using AutoCAD, Revit , or similar tools.
- Exposure to hydraulic or structural modeling software such as: WaterGEMS / SewerGEMS
- STAAD, ETABS
- EPANET or similar analysis tools
- Basic understanding of engineering analysis and modeling principles.
- Technical Skills
- Proficiency in relevant design and modeling tools, including: AutoCAD, Civil 3D
- WaterGEMS / SewerGEMS
- GIS (basic to intermediate)
- Working knowledge of applicable industry standards, design codes, and best practices .
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and reports.
