Customer Service Agent

Responsibilities

• What's the role all about?
• As a Sales and Customer Service Agent , you'll play a vital role in our Commercial team. Your focus? Delivering top-tier customer service and sales support for our Building Products division.
• You'll:
• Respond to inbound customer enquiries
• Price, chase, and win orders
• Process incoming orders, including through our new Ecommerce platform
• Track orders and liaise with internal teams from quote through to delivery
• Provide technical support to ensure the right products reach the right customers
• Work with transport and operations to coordinate smooth, on-time deliveries

Requirements

• You'll thrive in this role if you're someone who loves engaging with people and takes pride in delivering outstanding service. Specifically, we're looking for:
• Strong telephone sales background
• Experience in customer service
• Strong communication and rapport-building skills
• A proactive and organised approach
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Confidence using email and phone as primary tools
• Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
• Experience in the building materials industry is a bonus-but not essential. We'll give you the training and support to succeed.
